Not usually corrosion, mostly due to the movement by expansion and contraction or the pipework wearing a hole in the pipe from the aggregate in the concrete;)
ANY pipework in domestic situations MUST be lagged correctly to allow for this:)
You can get Sulphate Resistant Cement(SR), which I have had previous experience of with MS pipework in commercial situations, but, even with this overtime wear will occur, and its usually just a sharp piece of aggregate touching the pipe that eventually wears its way through:mad: a pain in ther bum to find and repair, especially on 3" pipework :rotfl:Signature removed0 -
Use 10mm plastic inside plastic conduit to each radiator, so no joints are needed in the floor. A manifold will then connect each circuit.
Cement will eat away the copper wherever it touches it and the expansion/contraction will just speed the awaiting disaster up.0
