Alf has had a lazy start to the day ....... woke up at 5am - looked at the cat, she looked at me and we decided on another few mins sending up the zzzzz's! When I next looked at the clock it was 8.15:eek:

Warm n sunny here, tho rather muggy.

Must get on now - done nowt so far, feeling very laid back and lazy!

put some out for them & they'd all gone within half an hour :eek:

Thanks all, I had a nice holiday. I belong to a Travel Club and we stayed in Harrogate and visited all around. Did Bronte, York, South Yorkshire Railway, Skipton, Castle Howard and loads of other places. The week was packed it was brilliant.

And yes, I did go to Betty's one afternoon and I had a Fat Rascal and Tea - it was lovely.

Hope all is well,I am fine today,I went out to an RNLI event and listened to Olly Murs on my mobile phone using headphones then I Wrote the Raffle numbers of winners and their names

I then came home and made a lovely Prawn Salad for lunch

Got cough because of Hay Fever.I have to take tablets so I dont sneeze.

DS3 is making us a steak in a fancy sauce with all the extras for dinner so just sitting here with a voddie and coke!
Looking like it may start to rain soon.

Good evening all, been in the garden most of the day and managed to get a lot done, everything is planted up now including some broccoli between my flowers (don't laugh it works quite well when you haven't a dedicated veggie plot). Left the lawn for tomorrow so hopefully it won't rain.

Glad you are keeping the birdies and squids fed firefly. They obviously like the new suet pellets.

Katie - glad you have had a good day and sorry you have hay feever.

Steak sounds lovely Sheils and might have a voddie myself in a while.

Must get some comps done now for the end of the month. Think they are mostly done but will check in case I have missed any.

Agree with you iluvcats about the mattress, the only thing thats strange is not being able to turn it over just around. Was always bought up to turn the mattress over every few weeks.

Watched a film, cooked a fish meal, all the dailies done (whoppee!) and the Times Hourly from lunchtime.

Will do another film and try some instants to see if an evening winner!
