Had a nice time in town today. We went for our Anniversary meal (bit late I know). I had a lovely rump steak (sorry Alfie) with jacket potato and salad and Fred had Mixed Grill with salad.

DH gave a shout when he went into the sun porch today and I thought somehing was wrong but one of his cacti that we have had for years has produced a beautiful big flower. Will try and post a pic when I put it on lappy. It is beautiful but has closed up since the sun went away - hope it comes back out.

Well, timed the gardening just right - it is now chucking it down - hopefully the rain will cool the air a wee bit, else it will be a very muggy night.
