I am the same as you re puddy, she's small, I look after her like a wee child, she is my constant companion after rather a hard few years and certainly the big cats outside would certainly scare the life out of her. However, they are quite nice when you get to know them, I have petted them, then gently sent them on their way. But puddy just likes to watch and has no inclination to befriend them!!!!

Sorry if I am intruding...just wondering if anyone here is entering the Aquafresh 40th birthday text competition? The T&Cs are a bit dodgy and I can't find anyone else chatting about it on any other threads.

Alfie - I watch Nature's newborns as well it was so sad when the tiger cub died but thankfully the other 3 were OK.

iluvcats - I love BLT its my favorite sandwich if I am eating out. Lottie won't tolerate the streamer/hoover/lawnmower etc. I nearly caught her long chin hair up the hoover once when she was attacking it so Fred has to take her out for me while I do anything like that. She also hides behind the toilet when the soup maker is on.

Morning all,

Have had a lovely little break but missed having the internet for 2 days! Have it now though as you can see.
Hope everyone is well and have had some nice wins. I had a WEM for the new Dr Oetker pizza and the Blossom Hill wine so really happy. :j Been entering the Blossom Hill Comp just about every day since it started.
Heading home after breakfast as it takes us over four and a half hours to get back without counting stops.

& tend to grow a few dif varieties for a change :j
yes, I think sage would be nice in your dumplings,
I don't use a lot of it but do sell lots of it & been told it's good to add to your stuffing mixes,
making bouqet garnis,
marinades etc :j
great the herbs are starting to shoot through :j
parsleys always a bit slow & hope it shows through soon x

Hope everyone is well - and congrats on any wins.

Lovely start to the day here so looks like more gardening today - must do the lawns and some edging to start off with.

ILC/Sylv: I like the sound the steamer things. Would save lot of elbow grease - also think a carpet one would perk up my floor coverings no end, will have to look into models etc so any advice much appreciated.

Ff: Just been out to feed the critters again - holders were empty - only filled them up yesterday afternoon! Topped up bird baths too so they should be happy for a wee while!

stuffed peppers, stuffed tomatoes, aubergines, courgettes,
corn on the cob :drool: :j
we do potato salads, dips, etc
love a good variety :j

Do you have hard floors or carpets Alfie?

Will try and dry some of the sage and give it a go/ Will let you know if its good in the dumplings. It was nice for you to have company yesterday.

Off the the dentist, again, with DH. Wish he would just get them out now and done with it. They are mostly lose anyway but you know men, in their own time and all that.

Must go or we will be late, popping in the see DD while we are over in that direction of town.
