Hope you had your day out wingo - sounded good! Bet you gave poor Jasper a row for barking
Watch the gate doesn't fall on you Alfie.
ILC is fine just having a little break I think.
Hope you had a nice day too Sylvia. I did get the ironing done but more sitting here today. I really liked Seaton when we visited.
Our next trip is in just over 2 weeks - down to Skipton area. DH has a birthday coming up so other things to organise.
Is anyone else as dippy as me? I bought new trousers thinking I was short of them and now I have found 2 pairs I bought last year and hardly had on plus an older pair.:rotfl:Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Just had an email from Brewers Fayre with a 25% off food voucher for DHs birthday and it just so happens we are staying next to one on the 26th. Have also got a free bottle of wine voucher to use from my rewards so that should be a nice cheap meal out!

Aw we didn't get to go to Seaton Sylvia, went to Dalton Park first this morning but DD was sick so she came back to car with DH while I had a look around and then DH had a look around. We went to Seaham for some fresh air but there was nothing there for kids. We were going to call in Seaton on way back but DH took a wrong turning and we ended up at Hartlepool Fairground!
The kids went on ghost train and DH decided he wanted to go on Walters so now he's the one feeling sick!
Managed to get myself a pair of Nike trainers for £10 as the Nike shop was closing down and got son footie boots and DD trainers for PE.
Good luck finding that handyman Alfie!I would send DH to you but I would never get my kitchen done!
I would just put a bucket of water on top of the gate so if they do push it open they'll get soaked!
Did you buy the new trousers then Sheils?I've done that in the past, bought the same item of clothing and found it in my wardrobe!
Has mse been ok for you fire**fly or is it still switching off? Hope you've had a good day too
Nothing in post today (again!)Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Hope DD is OK now wingo. Well done on the trainers. Didn't buy the same pair of trousers but did buy more than I needed especially as I have been wearing shorts for a lot of the summer! DD all excited about going to the festival at Dumfries tomorrow - she got free tickets for it so didn't go to the Wickerman. It is specially for teenagers with no alcohol etc but it doesn't finish until 10.30pm and she will need to get 3 buses to get homes although it is only 30 miles away. She is going with lots of friends but still a worry.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

but MSE Ian says it's for our own safety so what else is there to say:eek:
I love the maxi skirts & once ordered one online only to find i'd one that was roughly the same in the wardrobe i'd not worn from last year :rotfl:think we've all done it:D

Hi everyone
Hope you're all well. I've still got a poorly DH and have spent two Sundays in a row taking him to our local NHS Walk-In Centre as he seems to take a turn for the worse on a Saturday afternoon. He was ill the first week due to an infection and then had a bad reaction to the antibiotics he was on so was really ill from that. I'm hoping that he's finally on the mend now so that I can have a more peaceful weekend.
I've been working long hours this week as my boss is on holiday and have a bit of a cold so could do with sleeping all weekend.
I've posted details of a Times hourly tomorrow here - not sure it will be of interest to anyone here though as it's for football hospitality tickets for particular matches. It's annoying me though, as I can normally figure out what the entry link is, but I can't work out this one. May have to wait till first thing tomorrow, but that'll mean having to get up early
Just watching the Gardener's World wildlife special on BBC2 and trying to get some comps done while I'm still awake enough.0 -
Thanks Sue. Hope you manage to have a nice rest over the weekend and that your DH will be better soon.
I'm sure someone else will find the link tomorrow if you have a lie in.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
