Good Morning,

Just had a lovely surprise this morning. Have been putting in the Irn Bru codes from Ds's ring pulls and put 2 on the table last night. Hadn't even won a pair of their 100s of sunglasses but entered a code before doing anything else and I won a £100! :j :j :j I paid for the Irn Bru so it is my win but might treat kids.
Haven't had that lucky a month so really chuffed.
Hope everyone else has a nice win to end the month.

Lovely rain today and cooler conditions - garden is enjoying the moisture.

Managed two days of non-stop gardening - plenty to do yet but having time off today and catching up indoors.

P sounds like you had a fab time! Oh to be young again!

ff - I am busy picking, freezing n cooking runner beans! One of my favourite veg - dd gave me some plants and they are doing very well - it's nice to go out, pick them and cook straight away for dins.

Had planted lavender seeds in pots (ds filled me xmas stocking with lots of lovely seed packets) ....... some plants started to sprout but, after looking online ..... they def do not resemble small lavender plants so think I may have been watering and caring for a bunch of weeds!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Ho hum!!!

Yep ILC - come Thursday it seems it will start to heat up considerably again :eek:

:j brill alfie, you can't beat the taste/freshness of your own grown veggies :j r/beans are one of my fave's as well
once had a freezer full of them :eek: lasted us donkeys yonks
few years back we used to bag them up & sell them in the pub on a sat dinner time & folks would buy them up eagerly, even had reg orders from people in the pub for the whole season of them, they loved them :j

lol @ watering the weeds have done that as well a few times in me years :eek::rotfl:maybe they're a dif kind of lavender i'd leave them till they grow & flower & see what they are, you never know they might be beneficial for the bees/butterflys etc :j
