Back from the Secret Garden Party festival and had a wonderful time. The weather was fine after all as it only rained for a few hours on the Saturday night (we hardly noticed as we were in a carpeted tent with live music until 6am and by the time were were fully functional the following afternoon the mud had gone).

Saw some great acts, can't remember the names of all of them but loved Django Django and The Strypes but Bastille were disappointing.

We entered a pub quiz every day and won 2 out of 3 of them and won a bottle of wine each time :)

I had a Waterstones book win that arrived whilst i was away and a RM card to say I had a package arrive that couldn't fit in the letterbox (I wonder what that might be, I will have to wait until Friday to find out!).

Glad you enjoyed the film ILC.

Sorry about your tooth walwin - hope your gum feels OK.

Hope everything goes well for your GS red. It will seem strange for you being on your own. I have a 2nd son going to Australia next month but will still have a 3rd son and DD still at home.

Great you had a good time and some wins paadzer. My DS3 was at The Wickerman and had a great time too. It is only 7 miles from here so he came home for showers every day.

Phew! I'm shattered! Busy day today, came home to DH finally knocking rest of kitchen wall through but left me loads of mess :o So I quickly cleaned up, done tea before going up to see mam at hospital.

Red, I'm sure you'll be very proud of your GS when he goes to Uni. The time will soon pass and he will one day come home with a big grin on his face and an honorary title/qualification :) If he didn't go you would probably worry about what his future will be like. Xx

Glad you enjoyed your break Sheils :) Good idea taking breakfast with you. Where's the next bargain break at then? :D

Hope your red card is something exciting paadzer :)

Congrats on the cereal bars ILC. :j

Walwin, sorry you had to have tooth out but hope your pain has now gone. Xx

    Any more wins today anyone?

Hope you feel relaxed soon wingo and hope your mum is feeling OK.
Next break is next Sun - one night at Premier Inn near Guisborough (£25) and a points break freebie at Hol Inn Express near Leeds. Meaning to call in at Redcar, Saltburn and Whitby I think. Enjoying our stays but come home to piles of dirty plates and clothes etc.

OMG  Almost caught up on comping! Only daily done though is Reveal!

Bit of a joke really. Spent £16  on the lotto / SC last few days & just a box of berry cereal bars in  return! :T

Sheils: Your DD/DS's are lucky they can have mom running after them! I had to pay for the privilege! (when I was a lodger I'd have my meals cooked / packed lunch /washing and ironing done/room cleaned etc.!) @ home I had to do chores and more chores!
