Hope the ironing gets done sheils before it heats up to much :eek:

Feeling better this morn thanks all :A

First mistake of the day was to sit on me glasses! :eek: Just had to do a temporary fix-it job (similar to Jack Duckworth, Corrie with his specs!)

Lovely icecream thanks ILC! Well done on wins Nowt for me on tb last night, though will def get euro ticket next week then, may even get two!!

What happened to the wee kitten on the tube? Hope it's ok, poor little thing

Just seen on news ...... there are 'weather warnings' in part of the country now for today and presumably tomorrow including here ..... 90 degrees expected with maybe the odd thunderstorm inbetween, extremely hot and humid :eek::eek:

Peeps are being told to take extra care and not to go out in the midday sun if at all possible (mad dogs n English men etc!) :eek:

Done me garden watering early/bird baths/food etc so everything should be fine now til this evening.

Anyhow .... received my freebie Schwartz Mediterranean Chicken Pasta with cheesy crumb topping this morn :T:T:T

My son is coming to stay next weekend and he will love this! Was wondering what to dish up!!!

It seems weird to see people talking about how hot it is, would you believe that it was so chilly here earlier on that my heating kicked in? My DD has just gone upstairs to get her cardigan because it's so cool

Sweltering here, got windows, patio doors open and fans on - not doing much to cool me or puddy down. She is lying on her back upstairs in coolish bedroom

Her brother (my daughters cat) is a wee devil - always comes in at evening after being out through day but no sign of him t'other night!!!!! Seems he may have got locked in a shed or something :eek: However, he appeared, thank the lord, in the morning, starving and slept the whole day upstairs in the bedroom.

He brings in voles, mice, birds n grass snakes :eek: Usually the wee critters can be saved, but not always Such is the nature of a cat I guess.
