That's dreadful Alfie, hope you're feeling better soon. I got to my Dad's a while ago and he'd been conned out of nearly £70 for a few dusters and some washing up sponges. He's disabled and leaves his front door on the latch and the guy had walked straight in, Dad said he felt really intimidated.

You should still call the Police and let them know that they're in the area Alfie, might stop someone else getting the same treatment.

Thank you :A I am still in tears here - I am a christian and have many causes close to my heart, but the said people scared me to bits. Really really upset me :(

I should ring the police, and I will, would hate for any other singletons (elderly) in my patch to have to go through that!

    Nasty little s*d* :(

Exactly, if nothing else that Police can let other areas Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators know so that they can warn people. Have a nice cup of tea and a cuddle with Lottie xxx

Aaaaw bless you, you have made me smile. Nooooo Lottie is sylvs dog, I have a wee cat!! :) However, you have cheered me up, :A bu**er the tea, I am having a glass of chilled white wine!! :D:D:D

Will be ok, tomorrows another day. I am such a sensitive soul - but that sort of thing re callers who are not so pleasant really does upset me. Have had abuse in the past, which is why I printed and put up the notice!!! Ho hum. !! Quite hard when you are on your own. :( xxxx

Hope you are feeling better now Alfie. Once you have pointed out the notice I think you should just close the door and phone a neighbour if you are frightened. I wouldn't mind running round to any of my neighbours and I'm sure yours would be the same. DH says I am a bit like a Rottweiller when angry.

Have had a lovely day out. We went to Glenluce Abbey, had a walk
to the seashore and back (about 3 miles), then we had a picnic at the beach bfore going for our shpping at Aldi and Sainsburys. Used all our vouchers so paid for all our petrol for the day. Had a paddle in the sea too. It is so hot here today.

    What have you won BSue?
