Many years ago I got 4 numbers, the week before 4 numbers had been £100ish, so I excitedly spent my winnings in my head.
Imagine my disappointment when I collected my winnings to have received the grand total of £9.50. I'd have got more with 3 numbers!

£50 on a scratchcard last year. I'd only brought it to break a tenner for change for the bus. Paid for a takeaway and the MOT.

I'm in 2 syndicates, the work one wins small amounts weekly which buys more tickets snd my other one with friends not so often but goes towards our Christmas mums night out!

I've had 4 numbers come up twice, and about every other month get three numbers. I do two lines on Wednesday and Saturday, I think I've been quite lucky.

However, Thunderball is even better. I do 3 lines on Wednesday and Saturday, and get at least 2 or 3 wins a month. It might just be the thunderball or the thunderball and one other ball, but they are still wins.

When the lottery goes up to £2 a go I will stop the lottery and do more thuunderballs

Try this simulator, put your numbers in, put it on max speed (100 draws per second) and see how many thousands of years it takes you to win the jackpot!!

I do the thunderball occasionally. The most I've ever won is a tenner. Don't think I've got the winning streak that some people have!

I won just under £3,500 about 10 years ago. My boyfriend's cousin is the now slightly notorious girl who won £1.9 million when she was 16, and now doesn't have a penny left!

A friend a work won the £1 million millionaire raffle prize earlier this year...has since retired. A truly deserving, lovely family man. Still pops up to see us all at work...hasn't changed a bit and has helped his family out considerably.

I personally got 5 number once in a work syndicate many years ago - think I got around £150 and it went towards a new garden fence...!!!

£75 once for 4 numbers but to be honest I don't really play that often anymore.

My partner likes the Health Lottery so we play that now instead. I also like a dabble on online slots as a payday treat. I've won a fair amount on that £100, £300, £300...trouble is I spend my winnings again so am never really up so I'm pretty bored of doing that nowadays!
