Hers is cream too and she can keep it cleaner with tons of people traipsing through it than I can a dark one with just two dogs and the two of us. My living room carpet was expensive but my bedroom was a roll end and you can tell difference but its good enough for the bedroom.

I don't even know what colour I want wont be cream though with Poppys muddy paws when its been raining :mad:

The only thing I would say is don't expect Carpetright to be cheap on one of their "sales". We went for a local business, one of the ones that brings the samples to your house so you can see what it would look like with your furniture. Price worked out pretty well too.

I've always loved cream carpets and stupidly thought I'd get one for the bathroom as the dogs are always shut out of there. It turned out that my OH made more mess in a couple of days than our dogs ever did. It was replaced by a black one within a month. I'll just have to be content with being jealous of my mum's carpet :rotfl:
