The £10.99sqm on the roll carpet in carpetright has always been ok for me.

Just pick one you like, the hessian backed will last longer then foam backed.

Buy the underlay online, NOT from carpetright, online it's around 1/2 the price. Go for a nice thick underlay, 8mm-10mm it really improves the feel of the carpet.

Oh and my sweet SavvyBuyer. I was in Morries today and found a wee bargain. Little pot of conserve. Its amongst the mini jars, you know the sort you get for a high tea. Anyway its 9p a jar. Its called greengage conserve. A type of plum I think.

Anyway sorry its not more precise, size of jar etc but we were in a hurry.

Done 2 shops at 2pm both with coke, yoghurts, pizza and capri sun.
