Just want to thank whoever it was who posted a few threads back about how to care for orchids :A Think it may have been artha?

Well I had one with brown/yellow leaves and the flowers had all died. I very nearly threw away hadn't got around to it when you were discussing it.
I followed instructions and took it out of the ceramic pot so the roots could get sunlight and moved it to a windowsill.
It is now looking much healthier, has several new green leaves and a new shoot for flowers has just emerged :j:j Has saved me a few quid as i'm sure i'd have bought plant by now :D

logie:A your posts make me smile. Please post more often:)
If it was artha, good luck finding him, he is still mos I think:rotfl:

MrsS- any chance you have checked newmarket rd or milton tosco's, b.hill for anchor packs / or cleaning stuff?

Please let me know if they have any in your locality, I will ask me vicious sis, Rotty to go buy some as I think I'll visit family at the weekend:)

Hey funky. :) I only went to Newmarket road.
They had anchor packs and some cleaning stuff. There was plenty of limelite limescale spray, oven cleaner and vanish. The harpics are all gone now apparently. One of my mates went an hour or so ago and the shelves were stripped bare. I'm prob popping there tomorrow so I'll pm you if they have any back in

I have just worked out that I have enough harpic to last five and a half years (on the basis of 5 flushes per day)

Not if you invite scamps round you don't :rotfl:

    (sorry scamps, couldn't resist )

Don't buy in adsa until tomorrow tho

although you could try later today if you want

I too doubt it will work but if APG doesn't recognise the BTHPs just call up their customer care line and direct them to MSM/T.com

A is usually pretty receptive to feedback about APG accuracy. Although I maybe wouldn't include S&G/new pots on the same shop :rotfl:
