    Morning :)

    - 2 lbs :T

Weigh morning for me. Lost 2 lbs - miracle given how naughty I have been on non fast days.

I am reminding myself from yesterday qoc that that is about 2 jars of jam in weight and I have been carrying that round for a long time.

Will try harder this week. :)

    Morning all,

    Iamsohappy,
This could be me. I have also lost 2lbs this week, and on my non fast days I've been enjoying lots of chocolate. I seem to manage to cut down on food portions easily enough but, I love my chocolate. My current treat is Cadburys Mini Eggs that I get in Poundies at 3 bags for a £1, because I didn't get any of the 1p Tesco clip strip ones.:rotfl:

Good point. First time i got chips in edinburgh i was asked if i wanted salt and sauce?" What do they have against vinegar?

Oh I got into heated discussion with a woman at a wedding here. She was slagging off folk from Dundee, on the basis of meeting one person at a chip shop

I said well at least we don't have the audacity to take a perfectly good piece of fish and obilterate it in brown soup !!!! :rotfl:

PS I'm not from Dundee as you know but my god mother is and she was at same table and both my kids were born there.

I stick by the sauce thing its OK on chips but leave the fish out of it, its been battered enough ! :rotfl:

Not a great start to Monday morning - the perishing Chancellor has apparently confirmed that pensioners Winter Fuel Allowances and Bus Passes are definetly facing the axe ! If bus passes go then I can see the local bus services collapsing down here in Cornwall and I'm sure the town centres like Truro will feel the pinch. Older people seem to be seen as easy targets for cuts - we are expected to eat less, live in cold houses and go to bed early to save fuel, stay indoors and not go anywhere - and we are threatened with not even being able to have a glass of cheap whisky what with minimum unit prices.

Perhaps the Govt. would like to think about compulsory euthanasia at age 60 - then they would save on State Pensions as well !

hoard the whiskey now when it glitches.

Good morning Elite. Had some rain overnight here, but that big yellow ball keeps appearing in the sky!

DD off to Nottingham for training for a couple of weeks, coming back at the weekend. It is amazing how little sleep you get when your DD is off on her own (she is 23!!!) and keeps asking about all the platforms etc! She so rarely goes into London, let alone St Pancras, but she managed to get on the right train so all's good!

I've got to clean out the cupboard under the stairs in a while, so if you don't see me again send out a search party!

Just playing CC for a while first - level 213 is a right pain in the proverbial!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare
