Welcome and good luck
Thanks qoc.
I've got a notebook to write down my meals for each day. I find it helps to keep track.

Not a great start to Monday morning - the perishing Chancellor has apparently confirmed that pensioners Winter Fuel Allowances and Bus Passes are definetly facing the axe ! If bus passes go then I can see the local bus services collapsing down here in Cornwall and I'm sure the town centres like Truro will feel the pinch. Older people seem to be seen as easy targets for cuts - we are expected to eat less, live in cold houses and go to bed early to save fuel, stay indoors and not go anywhere - and we are threatened with not even being able to have a glass of cheap whisky what with minimum unit prices.
Perhaps the Govt. would like to think about compulsory euthanasia at age 60 - then they would save on State Pensions as well !ELITE 5:2

Good morning everyone.:D
Had a busy weekend, putting up new cupboards in our utility room with DH on Saturday. All went quite well once we worked out that the instructions were wrong. Spent yesterday filling them with kitchen equipment, and some of the stash overflow. Gave the new cooker a workout, a huge pot of vegetable soup, two loaves of bread, a dozen rolls, a chocolate cake, two dozen chocolate / nut brownles and a roast pork dinner. Made a big fruit salad to browse on today.
Looking forward to seeing the 5:2ers results. Haven't officially joined as I needed to see if I could function on a 500 cal day. I did it on Saturday, and despite being busy and active it wasn't much of a struggle, in fact being busy probably helped. So please can I be added to the club. I want to lose 28lbs, and will combine the 5:2 with SW. Do I have to stick to the same two days every week? It would suit me better to vary the days round work, as I do days and nightshifts.
Hope you are all well. Nannylala hope you're feeling better now. Nerfdad, hope all goes well for you today. I see you had an early start.;)
Hugs to all, hope you'll all have a good day.

Naebirrac,
You can alter your fast days as long as you stick to two each week, that's what makes this diet so manageable. If you have to go out for a meal, you can just swap the fast days around.
Good luck:T:T0 -
