What's the advice on fasting and exercising!?

I do a lot of aerobic work with the kettle bells and sand bags, don't really use the machines apart from a 5 min warm up on the treadmill!

I would not fast and exercise unless it was just a low intensity workout. If you do interval training or do weights, you would be knackered by the end of it. Everyone that does weights at my gym has a protein shake at the end and I am sure that has shed loads of calories. I don't take protein shakes anymore as they make my tummy go bonkers!

I've never really understood the kettle balls. Will have to Google and YouTube it and see what it's all about. :D

Loolah .......your photos are great. Thanks for sharing:)

Well I first went west and claimed my crackers. They were still hidden where I left them:T

These were the self same crackers that were taken off me on Monday at self serve. There then followed a long conversation on FB with Tesco and an even longer one by pm( apparently they couldn't breach confidentiality on an open page. What tosh. ) They said that I was entitled to buy 1p items and I should not have had them taken from me. It was a matter for staff retraining. They would however not allow me to go back in and rebuy the crackers and get an apology from the manager. That would be a security issue! More tosh.
On Tuesday I went back to the same store and bought more 1p crackers and again tonight.

Also bought a couple of caffe lattes to get 60p off my shop and some carte noir instinct. 100g £2.49 but used a £1 off coupon and a till spit to get it for 49p:T

So gather they sell the lattes then?? Did the take a print of the voucher okay?

That website won't load for me at home so will have to check at work during my lunch break.

The fasting thing does not work for me at all, I just get killer headaches, not sure if they are hunger related or with the sun, as I do normally get migraines. What I need to do is cut out the carp and junk. If I can do that, I think I will lose the mini belly I have.

Gym tomorrow morning for me, with at least one hour of interval training.

I'm having a fast day and have been to the gym too...gotta be a big fat burner!!:D

lots of excercise advice on Men health web site!:)

Just a reminder to those able to do the 5:2 and exercise - muscle weighs more than fat. So if you don't appear to have lost as much as you hoped - you could try the tape measure test or the looser waistband - you may have lost more fat than originally thought. :)

Good luck folks its great seeing how people are doing. Off to the swimming baths next week I hope - wish I could do more, exercise but getting there slowly. Have coped with the 2 fast days (Mon and Weds) ok and will do another tomorrow. - fingers crossed.:D

Soz lovely. 1lb of muscle and 1lb of fat weigh exactly the same. Muscle is denser so takes up less space, but they weigh the same
