I can't advise on how to parent outside of school, I know what I should do - give her more positive attention, make her earn her pocket money, make no mean no. I think I am probably a better teacher than I am parent :( not so emotionally attached.

She has always had a good report from school for behaviour and work, thankfully I have never had to teach her as I would find it very difficult.

Phew, got to the muffins just in time :p Second batch now in :)
Going to be good and freeze most of them though. More difficult to give into temptation if you have to defrost them first ;)

Was really disappointed last night. Clearing through paperwork and found the beauty salon vouchers given to me by my colleagues when I was diagnosed. Then noticed on the back that they are valid for 6 months from date of issue - dated November  Had horrid sinking feeling as they were worth £40. But have explained situation to the salon on the phone this morning and they have agreed to honour them anyway :T:T:T Planning a lovely manicure and pedicure as a treat once I'm finished radio :D

Aww, that's great to hear, sometimes people are so nice.

Snap I don't know if it is still running but there was a very good 2 night deal for 2 in Weymouth on groupon a week or so ago. Could always phone hotel before buying groupon voucher to check can use it on dates you want. Think it was £89 for 2 for 2 nights.

Where is the Pompei exhibition, sounds interesting?

Do rsh post tickets or do you print them off? Sorry never booked with them before

Thank you. Deciding between a 'boutique' or traditional with sea views :)

Hope you feel better soon, Nannylala smiley-hug008.gif

SHG, I know of a couple of tilers locally (friends/neighbours etc) but never personally seen their work so wouldn't like to recommend. Sorry

Thanks for your kind thoughts. They think she is losing it and told her to come back in a week if all is not well. BF is taking good care of her and things can only get better. Sending you a big hug back.
