Still peaceful in my house as ds is still out cold. It's so nice to start the day waking naturally instead of having a finger jabbed up my nose. :rotfl:

On my second fasting day today.
TrulyMadly have you tried the Nicky toilet roll from home bargains
It's about £2.25 for 9 rolls. It's really good stuff.
Oh thank you for this:) I used to buy this before we got the free lot from Kimberley Clark last year. I foolishly shared my stash with my two children who both live in uni houses and somehow it has just about disappeared.
I cannot bring myself o pay anything near normal prices until we are down to the last roll:o
Btw has anyone got any of those little toilet roll covers like little ladies? Perhaps I could crochet one:cool::)To do is to be. Rousseau

I've already made a blanket for the cat:) unsure if ill do much more than the basic stuff. I just wanted to see if I could do it. Might be nice to dip into in the winter months......having said that where is our real summer.
We seem to have sunshine but no heat. Evenings here are really chilly and the longest day is Friday:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Good morning! I am listening to the rumbling, but it is not my belly today. I'm drinking herbal tea and feeling fine about another 5:2 day. I think it is going to rain. I'm just not completely sure...so I had better go off and water my courgettes, just in case. They have found their feet now after a very late start. We opted for indoor tomatoes and chillies this year, so have a jungle in front of the dining room window, but we do have lots of baby tomatoes and the chillies are all blooming. Last year we planted outdoor tomatoes, green beans and aubergine that all got eaten by slugs and snails before they were even 30cm tall. Heartbreaking. I suppose that we did have an inkling there would be a problem, though. We live in Snailham. It means I don't even try to grow lettuce or spinach outdoors. The only things that really thrive outdoors here are purple sprouting broccoli and curly kale. We just have to watch out for the cabbage white caterpillars for them! Hope you are all well and have a fantastic day today.I am not young enough to know everything.0
