Hi I am new to this, got a pcn from civil enforcement people in Whitby Coop car park also. I did buy a ticket and got the money back from Coop. Still I got a ticket. I have rung coop they were sympathetic, informed me that 'loads of customers including my mum' get them when they have already paid. said they leased land to creative car park solutions. I am going to use the letter in this forum. I am refusing to pay on the principle that A) I paid and
what if it were an OAP?
Do I have grounds to charge them for my time? Or am I best just sending the popla request letter?
Will keep you posted , but I am livid! Does anyone know CEO of Coop? surely they must be in breach of lease agreements? Ie they are bringing coop name into disrepute ?0 -
These are details I got when I emailed coop customer services0800 0686 727 or write to Co-operative Group, FREEPOST, MR9473, MANCHESTER M4 8BA. Gemma , if enough people complain, they will have to do something ! .0

You need to start your own thread when you get your POPLA code. And you are right to aim for the top person at the Co-op. Did you try Googling the CEO as you need a name?!
Don't reply here please as this is someone else's thread. Start your own.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
