cheats are or have ruined online gaming?

I played Tomb raider online for the first time 2 nights ago, it's only been out a few months and already they have cheats for it, it's not a very popular game for online play, no where near the likes of COD etc I really didn't expect to see cheats on there and so soon.
No idea if Playstation police cheats better but Xbox imo do little or could do a lot more than they do to stop this, a few bans where the name of the person gets plastered across the game whilst playing for all to see would make a few people think twice, at any given time I can go on a game and see the same people cheating but nothing seems to happen to them...I'm ranting again0 -
I really don't get it, I play online to get a less prodictable opponent, if I lose so be it.
I really don't see the point in cheating.
On the flip side there is a great feeling when you know somebody is cheating and you beat them anyway.
I sort of a agree a little, beating a cheat maybe a little victory but you won't win the battle, maybe the odd skirmish.
It feels loads better knowing you have beaten someone fairly, both equal but your skill was better than theirs, not that they misclicked the cheat button etc.0 -
I hate cheats and glitchers, they really spoil it for us honest gamers. I also dislike those who have a go at you and call you 'ghey' because they don't think you're as good as them or you make a mistake in an online game.
That's one of the reasons why I enjoy playing with members of my online community where we play fair, play for fun and don't give a toss about how good/bad you are.0 -

I just mute those types of player or stick my headphones in but don't wear them, then they can merrily slag off anyone they want.0
