i have received a Parking Charge Notice today from a company called Excel Parking for £40 for breaching the car park terms and conditions.
I entered the car park at 19:29 when the shops were shut where i had arranged to meet my daughter.
I have read on here to just ignore it.
I wasn't aware there was a charge out of trading hours and didnt even turn car engine off or get out of the car whilst waiting for her to arrive.
Do i just ignore ?
Can it affect my credit file?

Stop reading out of date threads and look at current ones instead.
Look at or repost this in the Parking Tickets Forum for all the most up to date advice on seeing-off these scammers.0 -
No they cannot effect your credit file unless they take you to the small claims, they win , and you don't pay the judgement within the time frame the judge sets. This is not going to happen without your knowledge.
Please repost this on the parking forum below, and read some of the thousands of posts that are current now. Excel are a well known parking company, and are so upstanding they were recently temporarily banned from dvla data access for gross misconduct.
