New plan. I always seem to have one.
I have a monthly budget for misc spends, groceries, petrol, nails, haircut which I move into a separate account, and take out a weekly amount for each of these things, but it leaves me very little for any extras, I have a savings account which has money for when my maternity pay stops but I keep dipping into it.
So new plan, keep moving my monthly budget across to my account, but somewhere try to eek out x amount to spend guilt free on the little man, birthdays etc. Here comes a day or two of trying to rejig my budgets.SPC 18 Target £200 /0 -

Didn't spend anything at the 40th last night and drove home on petrol fumes to avoid going into the red!
