Kies download

Hi
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2. On Friday I found I had a new icon on the front page of a usb with instructions to hit the home key. I then found a page entitled Voice Talk. Following this I then found my battery depleting at a rapid rate. I cannot get this software update removed and the battery is dying within an hour or so. Has anyone else had this problem? If so please can you tell me if you have managed to get it removed/resolved.

1. Install Go Launcher EX from Google Play. It’s free!
2. Open the app drawer.
3. Press and hold on the blue Voice Command icon until it starts shaking.
4. Click on the X button and choose uninstall. Follow the instructions

Do you want to download KIES ??? .

Application manager or settings of voice talk to turn it off .

I assume Kies download a software update which updated the bultin Vlingo Voice Talk app.

Yes this was a download for the Vlingo which I neither wanted nor knew about. I have had to go back to my old Nokia in the meantime as the battery is draining within such a short time.
