    Morning all,

Thanks everyone for the PMs about Facebook. I don't actually use often and I like the anonymity of this of this forum so please don't be offended that I won't add you.

Hubby and DS1 are off to see Superman this morning. DS1 is moaning that he has no clean pants. He keeps a pile of dirty stuff on the floor of his room so that's where they are. If they don't go in the basket they don't get washed.

I've got my future sister in laws hen night tonight. We're just going out for a meal and I'm designated driver. At least I'll be guaranteed to behave.

I'm going to start batch cooking today for when I start my new job, and tidying up the garden.

    Morning :)
Just necking a coffee before I dash out of door to walk Luna.
Sun is out. For now. Weather has been hit and miss all week, lots of very heavy prolonged showers and brief stints of sun. Got lots of washing to get through, this stuff breeds overnight
Anyway I shall tackle all that when I get back, have a kids party this afternoon so need to avoid sitting on my butt this morning. And get stuff done :o
Not sure what's for tea, depends on how much kids Hoover at party ;)

    That's all folks :D

    Morning all,

Another early night for me last night and I was fast asleep by the time hubby came to bed. This tiredness is really getting to me. I cant blame anaemia this time I just think as I am getting older I need unbroken sleep more than ive ever done. Luckily Milliedog didn't get me up until 7am.

Hubby isn't at work today so we might be able to fit the shopping. He recons he's going to cook tonight. I'm intrigued, the only thing he knows how to make is a curry so I look forward to the results.

Ive already had my head bitten off so i'm keeping my distance. 'keep your aggression for those you work with' I snapped.... Its going to be a long weekend.:(

Halight - I am just the same, still getting really tired after my op, and it was a week ago. Glad I was signed off for 3 weeks!

Stitches came out yesterday. Nurse and healthcare assistant were both lovely, as I'm a bit of a wuss! After that went and popped my sick note in, then was pooped for the rest of the day!

JackieO - hope the weather holds out, the fete sounds great.

Healing wishes to anyone tha needs them!

Good morning, it started sunny today, so will be making the most of it and get as much washing as possible on the line to dry.

I feel a bit below par this morning, just very tired and achey. I am going to try and shrug it off as I want to go up into the loft to get an old suitcase down to eBay, plus bring down a couple of other things too, and generally crack on with the eBaying, plus get ironing done.

    Have a good day.

    Afternoon everyone
jackieo - hope the weather has stayed dry and that the Fete has been good and raised lots of money for a very well deserving cause, DH works at a residential home for adults with special needs so a worthy cause as far as we're concerned

Talking off DH, he is very poorly at the mo and the Doc has no idea whats wrong, he's dosed up on morphine and lots of other tablets, he's off work [unpaid] so all in all its a worrying time at the moment

Hugs, sticks, spoons and cake - help yourselves :]]

    Helen

PS Glad to see your getting better Halight and Judi - poor little baby, what a wonderful thing your DD [?] does

That recipe that we did on Thursday night was off a recipe card that we had out of our Veg box, That one for us did not really work, We shall be doing it again. But we will be changing to to suit us and only basing the meal on the recipe.
I'm always tweaking recipes to suit our taste - loads of our recipe books have little pencilled notes in the margin.:D And many thanks for posting that link about using vinegar on weeds; I just showed it to Mr LW and we shall definitely try it. I don't like using chemical weedkillers, as I fear harming our canine guests, but vinegar will be perfectly safe.:o
beating DD1 into tidying her room :o, her hamster died y'day :(,
Sorry to hear this; sleep well, little Hamster.

Helen OMG, your poor DH; I hope the Doc can get to the bottom of what's wrong - imho it's even more worrying when you don't have a "label" for it, iyswim. (((HUGS))) for you, too, mate.

    Afternoon all!
Had a lazy morning reading, then had to go shopping, my iron was kaput, managed to pick up a steam generator half price on offer, had my last steam generator for years and don't fancy going back to the ordinary iron as it makes ironing so much faster!
Have braising steak in the SC with onions, mushrooms and some left over red wine, not a common thing to find here but my brother was here last night and we shared a glass or 2, and there was some left. If its not cooked in time will be scoffed tomorrow as I am out in the afternoon, so at least dinner will be ready to heat when I get back!
Right, better get some order into this house, enjoy the rest of the day!

    Good Afternoon Everyone

Can't believe the time, I worked till 2am so didn't get up till 10 and the time has flown by

DS had a football tournament today - started off with bright sunshine, half hour in the heavens opened - was also very windy so we all got soaked through, am just drying off and going to jump in the bath as feeling a little stiff :o.

Gotta work again tonight but not in till 8, not sure what is for dinner, we all had a burger at the football so no-one is hungry yet.

Going to shoot now, bath is calling. Hope you all have productive/fun Saturdays, (((hugs))) wherever needed/wanted.

Sunny here at the moment, But we have had quite a few heavy showers,

We have been out to the Victorian street market, it was Ok, But not great , the Girls enjoyed the street entertainers.

We have ourself's a pork leg joint for dinner tomorrow, priced at £4.99. We had it from the butcher on the high street, he did us a deal and we ended up having two of them for £8.00 So that's next weeks Sunday dinner sorted as well:j:j

I do have tio say i will be glad when it's the Girls bedtime tonight, twin two ahve been very grumpy all day:(

Tonight's Dinner for the four of Us is Pasta Bog.

I hope that you have all been enjoying your Saturday. Dispute the weather, I think most of the country has had heavy shower's and high wind.

    Enjoy your evening everyone:j:j
