While I agree with you, I would make the point it's not worth the debate.
Some posters have a "unique" personal opinion of the SoGA and similar and will argue till the cows come home that they know best.
It's normally easier to point the OP at Trading Standards, and let them get the proper advice from the proper people than it is to argue some of the strange ideas posters come out with.
