    Got to the "quote" stage which shows;

    Nationwide Select Credit Card
    0% on balance transfers for 20 months and 0% on purchases for 12 months
    Credit Limit: £5500.

    So no problems there lol.

    Funny thing is, the Amex Platinum which I got declined for was shown in my Noddle account as a 9/10 chance of success and also on MSE's soft-search tool.

    19.9%.

    MSE soft search for Amex Platinum just said 90% chance of acceptance.

    well mine went through at 19.9 @ £2000 and your on much more than me, to be honest id of expected your apr to be slightly lower then what you were quoted, need to confirm this thing with your address first.

    i wish you had not done so many searches, would of been nice for you to hit the apply button with that above quote, but hold off for now, if there's problems with your credit files and you manage to fix them that apr may drop right down.

    Tried a sneaky sign-up with Experian but it knows I'm a former customer so will just have to wait for the details for the £2 login.

    and as nationwide use Experian, depending who the others you applied to and what credit reference they used, if only a small amout of searches show on your EXPERIAN FILE, id be tempted to go through to the apply stage with nationwides quote. as hopefully the others may just may of been only searching Equifax.
