    Well, the decorating has begun,

Living room needs one more coat of paint, bedrooms stripped and under coated ready for the gloss.

Carpets priced and booked for the end of the week.

I'm so thankful my mate is a plasterer, I owe him more than a few beers.

The devil incarnate of wallpaper (woodchip) was present under the wallpaper that was there......it's all gone now

I plan to have it finished by Friday. Then I can tidy the garden.

It's a fantastic feeling when you reach the end & the house is finally yours.
We've been in our house 5 months now (FTB) & I still have to pinch myself every now & again as I cannot believe we actually own a house!

Good luck for the future, & give yourself a big pat on the back. You can now relax! Well, until you start to move in lol. ;)

    It's done,

All the decorating, carpet, tidying. It's amazing how much extra work you find once you see the place without furniture.

Due to being in the army I was a bit gutted when I had finished and realised that we wouldn't be moving in.

My mortgage lender are understanding about service personnel and have granted consent to lease - without it affecting my mortgage rate.

Already found tenants and I hope they are happy in their new home.

I am happy knowing that I've got a home for my family to go back to if we return back to the UK.
