I have been in touch with Thomson Airways, with the hope that a flight in 2006 in which I was delayed for 11.5 hours on the outward flight and 13+ hours on the return would send some compensation my way - as their customer service leaves much to be desired!! Alas, I have been told they will only pay up within a 2yr period - they are spouting the Montreal Convention and not the correct EU rules, im about to contact the CAA as this is something they are aware of - im going to get something - and not another 'NO' letter - Thomson should PAY UP or face lots of penalites!!!!!!

*sigh* Ok. Because your flight is over six years ago, you cannot take any legal action against the airline and they will therefore ignore you. Sorry.0 -
Quite clear in the FAQs
Anything from 17th Feb 2005 -you can claim but if the airline says no - you can't take them to court
Small claims time limitIts 6 years in the UK0 -
