    - Chorley & District BS Worden 2 pays 5.75% from 1st June 2007. Balance between £20 - £15K.
This is an account with a better rate still (although only for 12 months term): http://www.chorleybs.co.uk/Affinity/premierrovers.html
(It's variable too, so might go up next time - if not this)

Found this one going up also - by 0.25% - not previously mentioned here (I think):
    http://www.thetipton.co.uk/home/savings/regular-saver
(Not a very good rate - drops by 0.5% after 6 months - so pay in the minimum)

Another 'dreggy' one which has announced a 0.25% increase since May also:

Thanks Milarky. I've got this account. Customers have to open a nominated account at the same time as the Rovers regular saver. Chorley haven't yet announced whether they are going to be increasing the rate on this account following the BOE base rate increase.

I'm not too keen on the Tipton regular saver, but I suppose if one wanted to be in with a chance of getting any possible merger bonus, then a regular saver is the account to go for.

Newbury Building Society's monthly saver account is quite good for those living in any of these postal areas: GL, OX, SN, BS, BA, TA, DGL, OX, SN, BS, BA, TA, DT, SP, BH, SO, RG, PO, BN, TM, RH, GU, SL, MK, SG, LU, AL, HP, SW, W, WC, EC, NW, SE. The rate is increasing from 6.10% to 6.35% w.e.f. 5th June 2007.

I see that Nottingham BS have increased their regular savings rate to 5.95%, w.e.f. 1st June 2007. Deposits between £10 - £250. They require that 11 monthly payments are made each year. The maximum account balance is £250,000.

If you wanted to make a start from fresh with taking advantage of regular savers what would be the first accounts to got for.
Lets say you have 15k lump sum, you deposit this with an online savings account (such as ???? please comment ) that lets you make withdrawals by standing order to for example the YBS regular saver (500 pm max) and then the next best paying regular saver allowing 500 pm, so you have used 12k so far....,the remaining 4k (333.33 per month) into the third best paying account.
Is there a big gain than just sticking the whole 15k into say Derbs BS 1 yr fix at 6.45% (5.16% net)? Has anyone worked out the interest figures or is there an easy way or working the sum through. What would work best to maximise return for 15k? Would be very happy to hear comments from those in the know!
