Yes, but most MSE's like myself already have the YBS 7% regular saver and many more such accounts!:D The Scarborough offering is a good regular saver for anyone who already has YBS's account and has more cash to deposit. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

absolutely correct, further advantage of having numerous regular savers is increased number of no penalty withdrawal facilities and if a R/S provider doesnt pass on full base rate increases more money can be put into those that do pass on full base rate increases and less money put into those that dont :cool:0 -

On the subject of Principality Building Society, their E-Saver rate is increasing by the full 0.25%, from 5.60% to 5.85% w.e.f. 1st June 2007. I know some MSE's have this account. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

is increasing by 0.20%
despite it not exactly being a particularly high paying reg saver
and is taking effect a week after most increases take effect

Yep. There are higher rates around. I don't have this regular saver, but I do have a 6.00% one with Cheshire which followed on from their 8% regular saver of 2005. Still, if a saver is looking for accounts that pay a decent rate and may entitle him/her to a future merger bonus then this account isn't bad. Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -

true considering i kept 100.00 in cheshires premium instant access account for 11 years
im not sure exactly what cheshires mission is they got ripped off big time by a large commercial loan fraud, their savings rates are mediocre, and their customer service is the worst ive ever encountered
k when i changed accounts i can understand them wanting to re check id i sent a mountain of bills etc also original paper driving licence + personal cheque, they wanted photo card of driving licence as well ( as if they could check to c if face matched :rotfl: ) other building societies say dont post photo card of driving licence cos of risk of ID fraud
i said to cheshire how about validating id online they said they tried to, first attempt didnt work then after i started getting ratty they tried again and electronic ID validation worked :rolleyes:0
