What comps DONT you enter and why?

For me its DVD's & CD's, comps to meet boy bands/pop singers because I'm sure a 10 year old kid would appreciate that more than me. Hotel stays up north if travel is not included...:D

any meet and greets, tickets for events, sporting - football or golf etc!0

Although I enter a lot, the forum always looks like a sea of red crosses to me as there is so much I won't enter.
1. Anything on Twitter, as I'm not on there. This cuts out at least a third of posted comps at one fell swoop
This also excludes most Rafflecopter comps as they nearly always involve Twitter too
Really should get with it and head into the 21st century but can't quite bring myself to do it!!
2. Anything related to pets / horses / fishing / babies / toys for girls or pre-schoolers.... or anything else that's just plain not relevant.
3. Anything posted by the sun newspaper as I refuse on principle to ever click on a link to their site
4. Holidays for couples only or families of four GRRRRRR
5. Facebook like and share comps.
I'm sure there's others too but they're the main ones I avoid.0 -
football related comps, tickets (unless local) if travel/hotel not included, festivals, activity days - weekends away (unless meals/travel included) - one night hotel stays if too far
oh and anything off gambling/payday loan sites - on principleproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0 -
Baby equipment (my girls are out of that stage)
Holidays abroad aimed at just adults as I would like to holiday with my kids.
Wedding comps, I'm not getting married (at this moment in time
)
I generally only enter for things that I want or that my kids or partner would like

Anything aimed at babies. Holidays that need to be taken this year as I don't have any holiday left
Tickets for things too far away. Facebook like and share as I think they are a con. May be wrong though.Wins 2014 - £100 John Lewis Vouchers, Personalised Razor, Aunt Bessies Oven Glove. Good food show tickets. Forever Friends Bear.0 -
I never enter to win books, DVDs, Cds, holidays or tickets - simply because I never read, watch dvds, listen to cd or got to concerts etc. Holidays are always tied to certain dates so I don't enter. I don't enter many twitter comps simply because tweeting just the once, never got me a win so I don't waste my time entering them!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Most rafflecopters, holidays/events that are too far away to travel, anything related to Man United, magazine dailies - I used to do them but they took up way too much time for little returnUEFA: Corrupting Football Since 1954 #CTID0

Virtually never:
Babies, kiddies, families, mums, dads, parents (No kids or parents)
Loan company comps (Principle)
Gambling sites (Principle)
Anything I think is too seedy - whether comp or site (Principle)
Anything I have to lie or pretend in order to enter
Rarely:
Something specialised which I don't relate to
Holidays (Other than for a few that I would love to go on, Northern Lights, Iceland, cruise. This is because we have dogs and are self-employed. Holidays are usually more of a pain than they're worth)
Small items: books, DVDs, and so on (Because I was spending too much time comping, so have cut back)
Blu XI am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!
When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.0 -
Comps I don't enter or rarely enter
Baby/Kiddies comps
Beauty stuff
DVD Blu-ray CD, (unless it's a large bundle)
Holiday comps, (though sometimes I do enter the odd one)
Most of the small low value crappy stuff.
Don't like lying to enter comps, so that rules out certain surveys.
Sometimes I can't be bothered with game comps, particularly if it means getting on the leader board. to win.0 -
I don't enter anything on facebook (no matter how much I like the prize) because it used to irritate me when my newsfeed was full of L&S type posts.
I don't enter comps for kids/babys/new parents etc, because I don't have any kids and even though in some cases I could pass things on to my nieces and nephews, I'd rather it went to somebody that genuinely wants those items.
Anything to do with horses/fishing/computer software are also wasted on me.0
