Ignore all these clowns stupidly copying out the terms and conditions with instructions on how to get a refund, they are clueless.
Emails all the way. :j:j:j0 -

So if you didn't give them your bank card details then they must have somehow guessed your card number, expiry date and CVV to enable them to withdraw money from your account.
The only other alternative that I can think of is that you (or someone close to you with access to your cards) has been entering your card details on loan broker sites.
I know which alternative is the more likely.0 -
Heather, you normally have to write to these companies to get your money back, as per their terms and conditions. They usually will ignore e-mails.
They must have got your card details from somewhere. They couldn't just guess.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0 -

Who is going to ring them on a premium rate 0844 number and give them even more money?
Nobody on this site would recommend anyone to do that."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Loanspotter has asked to provide a response. MSE doesn't endorse anything a company says on our forum.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Loan Spotter UK is not a lender, we are a broker and help our customers source loans from a panel of lender, some of whom work exclusively with us. This is a paid service and there is a one-off charge of £54.96.
We are registered with the OFT and have a Consumer Credit Licence and are also registered with The Information Commissioner.
Our staff takes one application form from our customer thus saving time and than look to match customers with a suitable solution with one of our lenders. We do not guarantee that you will be approved for a certain loan amount. As a broker we do not discuss loan repayments.
We have trained staff to deal with customer service calls and can be reached:

1) Fees are taken out of customers' accounts without authorisation.
Official reply:
"The only time we asks for card details is when a customer is signing up to our service. We are very transparent, and we clearly advise of the membership fee. At no point do we suggest that card details are required for anything other than the payment of a fee. Furthermore we communicate the fee to our customers by email / SMS also and provide a reference number for the payment”
2) Payment of fees is taken though loans are offered for an amount, which is less than requested.
Official reply:
“We work with our lenders to help find the largest loan for our customer, however we state on calls that the amount a lender lends will be based on affordability and that all lending decisions are made by the lender only.”
We do not discuss repayments, APR or loan amounts with customers, as this is something they will discuss with lenders.
3) Loan Spotter processes an application fee knowing that they will not be able find customers a suitable lender.
Official reply:
"We only accept customers who have matched the criteria of at least one lender on our system and we therefore believe we can help. Customers are under no obligation to proceed with any of the solutions we recommend for them”
4) It is difficult to obtain a refund from Loan Spotter.
"We operate a 100% refund policy for any customers who are unhappy with the service they have received. To discuss a refund with us you are simply required to contact us via phone (0844 704 5998, 0844 704 5998, or email help@loanspotter.net)”
5) You do not provide a genuine service.
“We absolutely DO and stating we do not is slanderous and libellous. We operate a business which looks to assist customers, works with lenders and has spent a lot of time and money developing our technology.”

Customer Services

Since when are 0844 numbers free? The last time I looked, they were Premium Rate.
If they can't be believed on this, how can you believe anything else they say?"There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
