Holidays to America - I try to go as little and as cheap as possible usually every 18mths or so - I book all my own hotels and flights via cashback sites and on a cashback credit card to help bring down the cost as much as possible. It cost us more to take 3 kids to Turkey in the school hols than it did to go to Florida one xmas. Going at xmas also cut down xmas pressies as the holiday and $100 spending money was their xmas.
Lurpak is another thing I cant buy a cheap alternative to.
And i have basic Sky which i wont give up........ I have no aerial so this would cost a years worth of sky to sort out along with buying a new box etc etc. I also have unlimited broadband and telephone with them and it totals about £56 a month for the lot.
I too stock up on better brands when they are on offer and use the grabbits board or HUKD to get bargains for xmas and birthdays - also Boots 75% off sale in february time is a good one to stock up for nice toiletries for either us or for pressies. Boots glitches are good too for stocking up on things. :rotfl:Updating .................................................

Nothing apart from horrible hair & bad make up but I have drawn a line. These are the last of a long list of luxury items & that I have decided I just wont do without. The cheaper alternatives just don't make the grade.
But the thread isn't about what will happen rather what have you decided you wont give up regardless.
I have been wearing clinique since 1993 and will not use anything else. I can cope with paying £5 for a quick hair cut ( and still look nice ) but my skin is top. Think it has paid off as i get a few comments that I don,t look my age. Always have bonus time every now and then so this helps.
I would be here all day if I list what I would do without..lol:A Tomorrow's just another day - keep smiling0 -
Car wash. I just can't make my car look as good as when someone else has walked it.
Good chocolate for baking. I cook a lot and find cheaper ingredients for most things acceptable, but cheap chocolate gives baked goods an odd taste IMO.0 -
Twinings Everyday Tea. NO other brand matches it. But then i am only £80 in debt, so can just about manage to buy it
