Hi,

i had a flight delayed overnight due to 'industrial action'. However the industrial action was in France and my flight was a UK to UK flight. Is this the airline liable or not? How do the rules on this work, is it that if industrial action occurs in any one country then any airline can claim lateness as a result? I mean there is no reason why French baggage handlers should have had a part in my flight.

Would be grateful for any advice on this, especially someone who has tried this before.

JM.

Edit: Apologies for atrocious spelling in title I am writing on a keyboard where some keys work and some dont :/
