Why didn't you simply deduct your charges from the initial sum you gave them?[/

It's easy to say this, it was not easy to do and I trusted them. The situation is what it is now, why didn't I do this and do that does not help..

Perhaps because of the lack of a written contract he is assuming that you would have paid yourself already?

I was offered back handlers to sell the stuff cheaper but I am a strait person, thats why I have been shafted! I have receipts and data for all of the sales, whiteness and transaction details..it was a case of, sell it all and square up when the hours had been calculated.

But have you actually asked them why they will not pay? There must be some sort of reply.

    Have you officially invoiced them?

I have invoiced them. They just won't pay, they have all the money and they won't pay because they are greedy, selfish people!

Did this not set alarm bells ringing?

When you asked the question "Why will you not pay?", what did they say?

And please don't bring faith into this - it is irrelevant. You get bad payers in all religions.

A friend of mine has taken the new tenancy. The landlord talks in riddles and one comment was that, we'll your friend wanted the premises and it is his benefit that it has been cleared for him.

This is nothing to with me or my time and fees.

The landlord has always been the one who has brought faith into the equation, saying we are a charity and an Islamic centre, we are good honourable people etc. he is the one who has used the good name of the Islamic centre to his benefit to gain trust.

It has not and is not a race or faith issues with me in any way!

To be fair, I think it's just natural to have a higher default level of trust when dealing with a charity or a religious organisation.

Not in business. Many charities are run on the edges of ethical and financial norms.

You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
