Hi All.
I have an NSandI ISA with teh full 3K in it from last financial year, and I earnt £33 interest on that, credited on the 6th April (so my balance is now £3033).
I want to put the rest of my allowance in there for this year, can I put in the full 3K all at once, or is this £33 interest taken into account? If the latter, does that mean I have to put in £2967?
Cheers

yes you can make a maximum of 3k contributions a year. it is the contributions that are relevant, not the balance of the account.0

Interest does not count towards the £3k limit, you can put £3k in yourself and the interest can go in (and be compounded) or go elsewhere.
Nobody was born knowing everything, even the stuff that seems obvious, there is no such thing as a stupid question.
