    Could it be he was "seconded" into the plumbing role therefore his contract is still as a builder? I don't really know the answer but I know that within my company any people who were seconded were pulled back into their role they were originally employeed/contracted to do.

    Well it couldn't have been very urgent/important if it has taken you 12 days to come back and read the responses :cool:

    I'm surprised that somebody with the brilliant mind of a retired solicitor did not consider that the OP may have read the replies without logging on/writing another post. Standards must have increased.
