Warring Kittens (other one is limping now)

I do - it's just that the package was called "vaccinations for life" not "boosters for life" that's why I used vacs instead of boosters:D0

They asked me to pay £100 for that treatment today, I said if I bought £99 package for each kitten, would it include today's stuff as well as the booster for Dylan next week, and they said they can reduce it to £30.
Basically I was going to be paying around £100 a year, now it's free for life.0 -

have you got them both insured?
No, but paying for treatment isn't an issue (I have a few k in savings and my mother earns 50k a year).
We've had lots of pets before and never used the insurance so it seems like a waste to us, but we have the money available so no insurance dose not mean no treatment.0 -
Well Dylan's leg seems to be all fine now, he's running around and playing like normal, but after a play outside Morti came back in limping on her front left paw. We're not 100% sure what happened, but she has been hunting Bees whenever she has seen them, and there is a dead Bee on the path outside.
Assuming she has been stung, what can we do to keep her comfortable. It's obviously bothering her as she's a very independent kitten (only wants to cuddle on her own terms) but has been coming up to us and crying until we cuddle her which she's never done before. She hates being alone right now and is constantly looking for a place to sit on us/next to us, where as before she would find a place high up to sit by herself and just watch things happening.
She's also crying to be lifted up onto the sofa and back down so she can go eat without having to jump/climb. She is eating and drinking normally so doesn't seem to be having any reaction, and there is no visible swelling and her paw doesn't feel warm to touch (no inflammation).0 -
RazWaz, have you callied the vet and asked them for advice? They should be able to tell you how to keep her comfortable too.0

I'm deaf, can't use the phone. I'm going to ask my mother to call when she gets home from work but that's not till 6pm.0 -
Have you checked between her pads and toes for a sting? If she's reluctant to jump, she may still have the sting in there. Please excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!0

I just had a look now and she started purring like mad while I was doing it, so it doesn't seem to be around that area. Looking at how she is acting, it seems like it might be a sprain or something, the Bee might be a coincidence qwsdxcfv - that was her saying hi!
The laptop does seem to confuse them both, if it's not for sitting on, why is it made of warms!0 -

Sorry, I didn't know you were deaf. My vet practice have a website where you can contact them/make an appt though it's not the most effecient way to contact them TBH.
As for cats sitting on laptops, I don't know if it's an attention seeking thing just like they'll always want to sit on Hubby's chest when he's reading. Little kitty likes watching us playing games on the laptop and likes following the ball/bubble around the screen:rotfl:0 -
Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!
