Warring Kittens (other one is limping now)

For those who read my last thread, they'll know I got a kitten around 10 days ago (Morti)which lives in my mothers house - next door to mine.
Her kitten (we always planned on having one each) arrived yesterday, we were expecting another female but got handed a tiny little boy instead. He's the cutest thing I've ever seen, called Dylan.
We were expecting him to take a few days to settle in like Morti did, but within 3 mins of being let out the carrier he was running around the room and playing, crawling all over us and looking for cuddles. It's pretty obvious that he grew up in a home with people where as Morti spent her first 8 weeks in a cage.
Well that's the background, here is the problem. They HATE each other. If one sits on me, the other chases them off and takes their place, they keep pouncing each other, lots of hissing and growling.
I kinda just let them get on with it for a bit, figuring that they just need to get to know each other, but they've started fighting with claws now, and I'm worried someone will get hurt. Any tips to help them get along?
I've tried playing games with them both, they both join in, until they get near each other and it just breaks out into another hit and run fighting match.

They'll either get on or they won't I'd leave them to it.. I've had cats that spent 20yrs not getting on and avoiding each other they both lived to ripe old ages and were happy kitties..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

I'd be extremely surprised if two kittens this young were actually fighting.
My two kittens will knock seven shades of you know what out of each other, but it's all in good fun.
Some male kittens can be bullies, but things should settle down once they've found their way round each other.0 -
It's only been a day
Cats or kittens need time to get used to each other and to establish their pecking order etc. It's very doubtful that they are actually trying to hurt each other so just let them get on with and eventually they will settle down and get on (or at least tolerate each other!). When I got a new cat it took around 3 weeks for her and my old one to get used to each other - I know people who say theirs took longer. 0 -
I was hoping that would be the answer
I just wanted to make sure I didn't let them get hurt though
Thank you! 0 -
i've made a horrible mistake. I though a cream tea would be a nice afternoon snack...
Well I'm stood at the counter making it, and I feel a tickle on my leg, look down and there is Dylan clinging to my waist having climbed right up my leg to get to the cream. Stopped what I was doing and fed them as it's around feeding time anyway.
Sat down with my snack and both of them are on me, as soon as I put one kitten down off my legs the other climbs up. It seems they will work together for the good of cream, at least they are starting to bond... Can't eat this bloody thing alone though.0 -
Lol, just wait till they have a mad turn at three in the morning, it'll sound like a herd of Rhino's tramping through your house.0
