Centre Parcs Complaint

If I were you, I would want a written letter of apology and confirmation that they will be briefing their cleaners about the incident, particularly whoever cleaned the room, and improving their method of cleaning to make sure it doesn't happen again.
That would be the ONLY thing that would make me happy in this situation.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Centre parcs, for two villas, we are talking thousands in holidays. I know as I use them. So significant compo if you want the cost of the holiday back.
As a parent when I go on holiday, anywhere, I sweep check the place. Shouldn't have to, but with kids you never know. You can never tell what the cleaners might of missed. Under the bed, back of the wardrobe, in the corner of the cupboard.
This time, the spot checks any parent should do, prevented a nasty accident. I don't see why you're so hysterical op really. It wasn't even a near miss, like you found the child with them. You did your job as a parent and spotted their mistake. Then got £100 off your next holiday.
You want more for the trauma though right?
Firstly tinkerbell28 my post in no way is hysterical or trying to blag a free holiday. Secondly, you obviously didn't read it properly as it was noticed when we were leaving!!!!!
As I have reiterated on subsequent posts, which again you clearly havent bothered to read through, I was merely asking for help on whether their offer was fair.
It would seem that you and others like to attack rather than just leave advice. Maybe you could look at some of the more appropriate posts. Most seem to think CP have been fair, they just don't feel the need to be horrible.

You say you were not after compensation. You were though. You thought for a non incident £100 wasn't anywhere near enough, were you legally entitled to more? Your words from your op.
That is why people thought you were being a compensation grabber for a non event. Your op WAS all about financial gain, not safety.
I'm sorry, not normally being a complainer, I just don't think this is even near enough, in fact I, my husband and inlaws think it's an insult.
But what do you think? Are we entitled legally or otherwise to more?
That is outrageous. £100 is more than generous for a total non event. The most important thing is it cannot pose a risk to another child. Your op was all histrionics and all about the money, read it back. Totally hysterical, and a total overuse of exclamation marks in later posts backs that up.0 -

To be fair, it was £100 off a future holiday, which isn't quite the same as £100. Nonetheless I agree that a more measured approach from the OP would have, in my opinion, been warranted as they asked if they could get more and then criticised other posters who questioned why they wanted more.
I'd suggest that if the OP plans to go on a future holiday the sum is very fair, and that if they don't, a small cash sum would be appropriate. It was a service failing which warranted a complaint, but I don't think there's any additional legal recourse on this in my opinion.0 -

I've seen that a couple of times recently
Is it just a common typo?
Have corrected my post now. Happy?
