I suspect that there is nothing wrong with your modem/router.
Look up how to find your router line statistics and post them. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Wireless link speed is 54 mbps that's all I know0
-
You need to log in to the router and obtain this information:-
These are my router stats.

hope one of these are correct info you asked for0

Your connection is just over 4Mbps which should be fine for streaming standard definition content.
Your line attenuation of 54db means that the best speed you could expect would be around 4 -5 mbps which is what you are getting.
I'd suggest using a wired connection between the router and the TV.
PS Try rebooting the router and retaking the stats.
Is your router plugged in the master socket? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
yes pluged into master how do you found out the wireless speed because that wont be a fast. thinking of going to talk talk fibre optic0
-
As penrhyn asked, are you using a wired connection from the router to the TV?
I have a Samsung smart TV connected by LAN lead to a router that is performing with similar output as yours and video streaming from IPlayer, 4OD, Netflix, YouTube is first class. No buffering delays once the programme has started.0
