If you buy anything from their "Discount Delivery" pages:-
http://svp.co.uk/products-list.php?pg=2
then your postage is only 99p if you select the "Economy Courier" option.
I can highly recommend the TDK 12 disc CD holder with built in speaker for £4.99 http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=626
Effectively you get this for just 99p0 -
I may have been unlucky (but I don't think so) I had to return my UMAX2800, as, when a memory card was plugged in the remote stopped working and when I plugged in a USB hard drive the player completely hung. I am waiting for them to collect it at the moment (they haven't even managed to get the collection right) I ordered the Eltax DV-254 HDMI player from ebuyer. I also ordered a HDMI cable and with Google checkout and 2 day courier service it came to £36. Very reasonable. It arrived a short while ago and looks very nice. Has full DIVX compliance and USB and Memory card slots. I will have to wait til I get it home to test it.0

Did anybody work out if subtitles work with this on freeview?
Or found any software updates?Treat everyday as your last one on earth, and one day you will be right!0 -
Has anyone else has noticed a "snowy shadow" running down the tv screen when this dvd player is playing?
I wasn't sure whether it's the unit itself or a bad scart lead causing it“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Just ordered one up, will see what the quality is like when it arrives.
Delivery cost has gone up to £5.86, so if you follow Dreamcoat's advice and order the CD holder/speaker you effectively get it for 12p!Stay away from that Trap Door, 'cause there's something down there... :eek:0 -
YES!!! It's back!!! I have been waiting for these bad boys for ages and have just had an email from SVP notifying me that they are back in stock! :-)
I've just bagged myself 2 (1 for me and 1 for my Dad). It's such a nifty bit of kit, I can't wait to get my hands on it.

Also worth mentioning it's a 99p shipping weekend for spending over £30They promised the earth...and delivered mud. Technically though it did meet the spec.0
