Hi there
Would really appreciate anyone's opinion on whether you think this is an extra ordinary event!
Our flight was delayed 4 hours.
The air steward told me that this was becuase of an earlier fault on a plane (plane a) at gatwick which they could not fix and so they grounded the plane. They then used our original plane (plane b) as it was the only one big enough for the length of journey in place of plane a. They then sent 2 smaller planes (let's call them c & d) out in place of plane b - which were by then delayed 4 and 6 hours respectively.
If anyone has managed to follow that - do you think it is a valid reason for compensation?
Thanks in advance

Someone has already answered your question elsewhere. No. You cannot claim for snow if it made your flight late.0 -
Make a claim and follow it up with Court action if it is rejectedHi there

Our claim on Thomsons was eventually settled out of court for an almost similar problem.0
