I've just checked again with post 45 and all three items were glitchy so I do not see why it caused such a problem! Can anyone help please?

I think you were unlucky :(

I have had some try to tell me to "pick another item" or whatever e.g if its bogohp but I always tell them I want those three and in one transaction. Followed by "I bought the same yesterday, so I know it's ok".... And when it's an amazing price I just say "yes I thought so too, that's why I'm back!". Most are friendly and agree whilst looking baffled and move on to the next customer... You were unlucky :(

On a side note I wasn't given any glossies as they had run out, so I have emailed and customer services kindly gave me the points value instead!!

    Update:

Going through my receipts, the one the store manager showed me was a duplicate, she must have been lurking or watching me on security!

    Argh!

I was definitely being watched in Reading as well. I did the Soap & glory thing twice on SS tills. Then when I went through with my No 7 stuff the SA was over like a shot, and another almost followed me out. I only for 1 lot of No7 because I didn't dare risk it again.

What are people buying now to receive the vouchers off a SA, any good money saving deals?

SA kindly gave me a voucher when I bought a mobile top-up while telling me it was not allowed now...shame!!!
  • Could buy Batiste dry shampoo to get a glossy no 7 voucher and as its TRYMEFREE. Need a form from the internet. See forum

Hubby used two lots of vouchers yesterday at the Metrocentre, Gateshead and got 3 mosaic bronzers for £1.25 and a dual bronzer, nail polish and two bottles of B-Blonde cream peroxide for £1.08 :j

I went back today and got a BB cream, a nail polish and some cocoa butter body lotion for £2.14 but SA came over and asked what vouchers I had just used (I had used all 3)...I bluffed it and said just the £5 till receipt as I had bought a BB cream and she eventually walked away as I paid but she watched me like a hawk every time I went near the SS tills to do my final transaction :rotfl: Afterwards, I realised I hadn't put my glossy vouchers into the till slot after I had scanned them so I still have them in my purse :D

In the end I was so nervous of her I went upstairs to the photo tills and just put a few things through the manned till with no problems :) I got a tinted moisturiser, a nail polish, some shower gel and throat lozenges for £2.24. She looked a bit shocked but let me pay and then proceeded to give me another glossy voucher :p

I now have another two glossy vouchers and 3 till spits but I don't think I can stand the strees so will leave it a week or so before I go back again.:o

Thanks to all that have patiently explained how best to maximise the glitch

Soz about that, thought I had read every post.

I was trying to work out how to get lip pencil or men's face scrub is there a combination for them?

You can get a lip pencil if you buy one of the glitchy products, in fact this works with any No7 make-up as long as you buy one make-up product and one glitchy product.

You can get the men's face scrub as long as you buy 2 more expensive glitchy products for example......

    Bronzing pearls £9.95
    Bronzing pearls £4.97 (BOGOHP)
    Men's Face scrub £0.00 (3 for 2)
    Total - £16 vouchers = -£1.08

Make sure in this instance that you bulk up your shop to avoid a negative amount to pay, you'll only have this problem when buying 2 or more lots of the bronzing pearls in one transaction though.

It's mad isn't it? I was at a branch yesterday, the ss tills went down on my fourth and final transaction so I was taken over to the No7 till to pay, girl looked at the coupons, read them, scanned them through, said "£3.42 please, wow what a bargain!" and that was that! I got a free GWP ballerina purse as well! :rotfl:

  • Ive not had any problems with these crazy sounding SA's but at the end of the day if it wasnt allowed then you wouldnt be able to do it, as long as you keep hold of your receipt & youve paid what the till asked you too, theres no need to treat people like criminals is there.
    So rude.

That's my view on it too, it's not like you're shoplifting, everything you leave with has been put through the till and paid for! (or should that be 'paid' for? :D)
