The pressed powder is make-up so you can't get a 342 to work using the pressed powder.
Thank you balletshoes. I'm sure I am being dumb, but how can I use all £16 worth? Surely the powder and bronzing pearls are both make up and so the skincare vouchers wouldn't count?0 -

yes they do - because the bronzing pearls are going through the tills as both skincare and make-up.

You have the patience of a saint...thank you!
I think I am going to go for the pressed powder and the bb cream! Is there a particular order I need to use the vouchers?0 -

I don't think it matters - I do the tillspit first because thats worth £8, then the £5 glossy then the £3 glossy.0 -
OMG I just got trouted big time in a store in Br1s*0l, crabbs coursew@y to be precise (purposely misspelling), note to self, be careful to pick up EVERY receipt!
Either she'd been watching me (I don't think so as I did it 4 times and she only said about me doing it once), or someone gave her the receipt but she found me at the no7 counter as I was doing a 'one off the list, one make up' and gave me a telling off!
I stayed chatting with the no7 girl afterwards who was serving me and she said it wasn't my fault if the till took two lots of vouchers, her boss agreed as well. I said it was obviously not my fault in that I hadn't been asked to pay the money back, no police and no security, no store ban either *phew*. In any case (I didn't say this to her), it wouldn't be on the MSE site if it was illegal!
There was a number on the back of the receipt, I googled it and it's customer services! She'd obviously called and been told she didn't have a leg to stand on, which is why I only got a telling off!
It's quite funny really but I do feel guilty in that those doing this glitch in this store might have to be very careful:(:(

I'd have gone back to the till and asked for the glossy that was missing from the 2nd transaction.0 -
We haven't any SS tills anywhere near here so I only have the vouchers to use that I have been given by a SA at a till, but I did manage it the other week. Today, however, I tried to get
1 BB cream
1 Tinted moisturiser
1 Bronzer
Not greedy or anything!
The first till lady tried to do it as two separate transactions but I said, that's no good, they have to go through all together as 3 for 2. She half heartedly tried but said it was no good. So I went back and got the items again and two SA's argued with me about what was makeup and what wasn't. They tried to tell me that tinted moisturiser wasn't skincare. Eventually I realised that the signs have changed - instead of saying 3 for 2 on all No 7 items, it is now only on skincare! They just wouldn't have it so I took back my vouchers. Just then another girl came up all pink in the face and said "you've just been told this by that girl over there". I said how do you know? The first SA had come over and told her! I said, oh, gosh, I didn't know it was a crime and waltzed out! I give up, I haven't the nerve to try again! I don't think its worth the nervous stomach when I would still have to pay £15 or so.0 -
I've just checked again with post 45 and all three items were glitchy so I do not see why it caused such a problem! Can anyone help please?0

sounds to me like you got a series of SAs who just didn't want to let you have those items at the discounted price. There are some who just won't let the till do its job.0
