It would seem from the information that you've given that you didn't clarify a price with a staff member and that the special price wasn't on a menu.

Leave a review on Tripadvisor - that'll potentially hurt them far more.

No I don't think I will do that. Like Lucy said ...

Ah but I bought it and ate it before I paid the bill. It was at that point I was told.

I think what you mean is that you ordered it and ate it, before paying for it. ;)

As another poster said, it appears you did not clarify the cost of what you ordered, and so will be charged at the tariff price.

Your allegation appears to be one of false advertising. And one that on the face of it could be upheld as the website was changed very soon after you brought this to the atttention of the vendor.

You have a copy of the earlier webpage, and I would suggest you to make a copy of the revised webpage (if you have not already done so) and then report the matter to the ASA.

    Yes that sounds better!

Well that was suppose to be half price on the deal on the website, it wasn't a 'different' price. I didn't check that they would honour the half price deal before ordering it. They didn't honour it, as it was, and took it off the website the following day.
I don't post much, but when I do it's all good!!
