    1. Mortgage to sub-£32k - OP £2,262.60 - £964.50/£2,262.60
    2. eBay sales of £10 - £0/£10
    3. Grocery budget £100 - £89.72/£100
    4. Cashback payouts of £10 - £30.81/£10 :)
    5. Switch current account - done :)

I've also applied for a FD credit card - I'll get a further £25 cashback for this. My 123 cc anniversary is approaching and I will be cancelling due to the higher fee. My main cc is Amex but I need a back-up as it's not so widely accepted.

Thanks - huge relief, it took many hours of calls and threats of legal action. We basically expected to have to make a claim through our insurance, but held off as didn't want to have the £50 excess.

Minor gain today, £1.30 train delay cashed in. Not yet OP'd.

Offset by more naughty travel plans - the last of them for this year, I swear! :o Booked a flight out to Dubai for Spring as DH is working there for a week so I'm going to join him for a long weekend. Not been before so a good chance to visit on the cheap. Flight was only about £325 and awesome flight times means only one day leave from work needed!

    Quick weekly update!

Received a small refund for some problems we had with our holiday over Christmas, so £375 OP today, taking me under the £33k mark! Mortgage stands at £32,900.43.

    1. Mortgage to sub-£32k - OP £2,262.60 - £1,339.50/£2,262.60
    2. eBay sales of £10 - £0/£10
    3. Grocery budget £100 - £138.38/£100 :(
    4. Cashback payouts of £10 - £30.81/£10 :)
    5. Switch current account - done :)

I budgeted to not do much of a grocery shop this weekend but ended up stocking up on store cupboard items, cleaning products etc due to offers, and also buying quite a bit of food - the upside is that we shouldn't need to buy much the weekend after we get back from hols, so I'll restrict the March budget instead.

We're off again on Thurs (pay day - OP will have to be made from the airport!) so March will be my month for getting back into eBaying.

Hope you have a nice holiday!

We stocked up on cupboard items this week, too - hoping this weekend we'll just need to pick up a few items to compensate.

So I made my £2,000 OP on pay day and have just transferred another £293.56 being:

    £13.80 train delay refunds
£50 gym subs reduction as I couldn't go last month due to my op
£67.29 anniversary cashback from my amex card
£41 "extra" pay due to not buying hols this year
£81 my share of this month's council tax saving
£40 saved due to using gift vouchers to pay for last month's haircut
    and 47p TT

    Whew!

Balance now stands at £29,889.54 - into the 20's (and will stay that way irrespective of interest to be applied!) :j

I did not for one moment think when I remortgaged at £72k in September 2014 that this would be possible so quickly. My original MF aim when I started this thread in June 2013 was end of 2022 - so with any luck I can shave 6 years off that!

Daily interest is now at £2.04 - would love to get that below £2 by the end of the month but we'll see. I must restart ebaying - have a few things sorted to go and received a discount on fees email so need to find some time one eve this week...
