Dont do that as these phones (above)have an unacceptably low memory which make them almost unusable!
500mb memory is not enough these days . . . .
On some devices this can lead to you running out of internal memory when installing apps.
I have seen some phones like this that wont even open email or the internet browser due to 'low memory' problems.
It is the best bet to go for something that has 1gb of ram!
Don't get confused - go into a mobile shop and they don't even have the devises ram displayed . . . People tend to look at the internal storage and think it is ram (it is not!)
Ram can never be upgraded. Get a memory hungry phone and you will be stuck without enough ram for simple daily tasks.
Pay more and get something with a better spec!
Look your phone up here to find the full spec:

As on another thread (where you said the same): internal memory and RAM are different things.Dont do that as these phones (above)have an unacceptably low memory which make them almost unusable!

To clarify: the Y300 has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory.
You can't up the RAM on the Y300 but you can increase the internal memory by adding a MicroSD card. 512MB RAM isn't the greatest, but for most users is acceptable. Of course others may disagree.0 -
My Nexus S has 512mb of ram and it's fine. More would be nice but it's not necessary0
