Hi all,
I am on a very good package for Homephone (evening and weekend) and broadband with talk talk. They offered this to me as a retention deal when my contract ended last November.
Can someone please tell me if I can take my package with me when I move? I tried to book a home move online with them and they are quoting full price of my package???
What are my options really ?

Call them, if the customer service agent says you'll have to pay full price tell them that in that case you'll be shopping around and will need a mac no. You'll probably be put through to a manager or retentions person who seem to be far more sensible and responsive, and to be able to make decisions rather than just reading a script.
I called them recently to say that my former free international calls had disappeared (a legacy from an old tiscali deal) soon got beyond the CSA who'd run out of script and got passed to a manager who apologised offered £90 credit (for o'seas calls that had been made in past two years) and reinstated the free international calls.
I know talktalk get a bad press but the only time I ever got close to leaving they gave me very good reason to stay. Over the past couple of years they've resolved the few issues I've had and customer service seems to have improved greatly...once you get past the CSA!Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!0
