Three mobile data speeds dispear

understand peak times would be a bit slower due to congestion but not to even get 1-2mb is appalling when advertising as "ultrafast" in my opinion

Sounds like they are limiting the bandwidth available for tethering over peak times, so are you tethering ?
that could be whats causing the slow down

i thought this at first if i do a speed test without tethering by a speed test app on my phone its is still 512kps. if i then connect to pc and go to speedtest.net same speed

bbc iplayer app refuses to work constantly buffers and bbc iplayer on pc just tells me i don't have enough bandwidth all the time
